Delete your child's Arithlo account
Arithlo by Giane Future Gurukull, published on Google Play by International Institute of Handwriting Analysis.
As a parent or guardian, you can ask us to delete your child's Arithlo account and all the data linked to it at any time.
How to request deletion
In the app
Open Settings → Delete account, then tap Send request on WhatsApp (or the email option). The message is prepared for you; just send it.
Without the app (for example, if it is uninstalled)
Send a WhatsApp message to +91 80623 65298, or email privacy@arithlo.in, from or mentioning the WhatsApp number registered for your child's account, with:
- your child's name, and
- the words "Delete Arithlo account".
Either route reaches the same place and is handled the same way.
What happens next
- We verify the request. To protect your child, we confirm it comes from, or names, the parent's registered WhatsApp number. We will not act on a request we cannot verify.
- We confirm receipt within 24 hours.
- We delete the data within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
What we delete
Everything linked to your child's account:
- your child's profile (name, date of birth, enrolment details),
- their full practice history, results, streaks, points, badges and belts,
- linked devices and device change requests,
- your parent PIN, sign-in records and consent record,
- enquiries that friends' parents made through your child's challenge links.
Copies in our backups are removed automatically within 14 days after deletion. We keep only a record that a request was received and completed, with dates. It contains no name or phone number.
What deletion does not affect
- Your child's enrolment with Giane Future Gurukull. Deleting the app account does not cancel classes or fees. Please contact the institute separately for that.
- Records we must keep by law, such as fee invoices, which are held by Giane Future Gurukull outside the app.
Deletion is permanent. If your child uses Arithlo again later, they will start with a new account and no previous progress.
Received a challenge link?
If you gave us your details through a "Challenge a friend" page and want them deleted, send the same kind of message from the phone number you entered, saying "Delete my challenge enquiry". We will delete it within 30 days.
